an an eventful Saturday afternoon, my friends and I decided to grab a senior dinner to soak up the day drinking at Sweetwater in Buckhead.  I would definitely recommend checking out the Sweetwater on a free Saturday.  It’s only for a beer glass (that you get to keep), and they provide you with seven tickets (equating to seven beers). None of us reached our limit of tickets.  It’s a great deal!  They also give free beer tours of the facility, although nothing is running so it is not very exciting.  I’ve been to better – to the Budweiser facilities in Missouri ( many years ago when my Dad thought it would a good family vacation) to tour the facilities and pet the Clydesdales.

Next, we headed to the Brewhouse at Little Five Points.  After finding out the wait at the Vortex would be an hour, we caved to our growling stomach’s demands and headed to the nearest restaruant – Brewhouse.  It has an Irish flair with a good size patio to enjoy more of the fading summer sun.

They have a great selection of burgers (which I know because I nibbled off everyone else’s entree), but I opted for a healthier choice:

Grilled Salmon Sandwich with Fries
