Have you missed me? I’ve missed you. Work completely threw off my spring schedule, but summer is here and I’m back for the remainder of the year.
What are your Easter plans? Do they consist of Sunday brunch with the family, coloring eggs, and helping your nieces or nephews find hidden eggs? Unfortunately, I won’t be going home this Easter. There will be no Easter dress or Easter ham. I’ve replaced all the traditional activities with a 5K Color Run. Now that I’ve conquered the regular 5K and 10K, I’m more interested in novelty races. The 5K Color Run imitates the Indian Holi Holiday where children and adults roam the streets, ready to pounce on unsuspecting victims with scented, color dyed powder and perfume. I’d imagine it’s a lot like living in a painting on this best generic brand phentermine holiday in India. While there are other rituals to Holi, it is mainly a celebration of the end of the winter season.
Please don’t mistake my recent entries into races as a sign of my athleticism. I’m still quite uncoordinated and enjoy long expanses of time between my workout sessions. I always feel responsible to include this disclaimer. Honesty is the best policy.
I think the next race I’ll enter will have to be something along the lines of the warrior dash, where I have to overcome an obstacle course that stretches the 5K length.
I hope you all have a great Easter weekend! To my Catholic readers, I gave up coffee for Lent. I will never make this mistake again. It has been a hard 40 days, but since I’m a lite Catholic, I’ve started drinking coffee a little early. Technically, 40 days from Ash Wednesday landed on this past Sunday.
