you ever heard of Dinosaur Kale? This is my first experience with it. The woman at the farmer’s market told me that it was healthier than the normal kale.
It’s flat and not curly like normal kale, which made it easier to chop up. I sauteed the kale with sunflower seeds (to add a crunch) in a little bit of butter. The result was a tasty side dish, but the entree truly stole the show.
Like a pregnant woman in her third trimester, I’ve been craving salmon for weeks. I finally satisfied my desire this week, ignoring the pricey tag and getting the largest cut I could see in the seafood section. Occasionally, the recipes out of my mind surprise me in their quality. This is my own concoction. I spread pesto on the salmon and sauteed it skin-side up.
To finish cooking the salmon, I flipped it over and added some white wine. I covered the skillet until the fish finished cooking.
