I used to have a roommate who would eat salmon and broccoli religiously. Ever since then, I always tend to make the two in combination. It does always work out well. I cooked the salmon and avocado in a white wine, italian herb sauce and steamed the broccoli. This is another concoction out of my head. When I cook just for myself, I rarely use a recipe. By keeping my ingredients to a minimum, the natural flavors of the food are brightened with very little effort.
