Almost 40 states have reported cases of West Nile Virus this year. The CDC reported a total of 1,118 cases, including 41 deaths, the highest number of cases comparative to the highest recorded through August since the disease was first detected in the United States in 1999.
These statistics vindicate me for all the times I’ve smacked down a mosquito. Most animals have some sort of positive presence, but I can’t think of any for this pesky parasite. (Disclaimer, I love animals.)
Who doesn’t love a little scandal with their Friday morning coffee? Will a Prince Harry in his birthday suit be enough? Strip billiards will get you every time Harry. When will you learn that with prince-ship comes responsibility? Harry is third-in-line to the British throne and an army officer and Apache helicopter pilot. I can understand the need to “let off steam,” but there are more appropriate ways to cool off when you are a public figure.

The Dominican Republic and Haiti seemed posed to be the first victims.
I love the idea of life on an island, until hurricane season rolls around and reminds me why I’m thankful to be landlocked.
Great Britain has Prince Harry to be ashamed about, and the U.S. has shows like this:
