Top of the Morning London

2012 Photo Challenge, Holidays, Travel

I spent two weeks traveling through Europe.  My first impression was charming.  Everything in Europe has so much history.  I love the juxtaposition of old buildings with new.  While the U.S. is a melting pot of people, Europe is a melting pot of history and modernization.

Asia is a mix of ancient artifacts and development.  Europe is one step younger.  It has a distinct character, shaped by its storied history that steeps every building and cobblestone in charming folklore.

I flew into London overnight, so to prevent me from succumbing to jetlag, I hit the ground running.  My friend and I spent all day walking around London, seeing the major sights! Little did I know that this would be the first of many days of bone-weary walking.  I managed to loose weight while eating three-course meals in Europe – I know, I’m lucky.  In addition to the usual highlights, I took some candid, street photographs.

Enjoy!
