found a German-oasis in the middle of Georgia to celebrate Oktoberfest. Helen is a small village tucked into North Georgia mountains with Bavarian-style architecture.
My friends and I rented a 6-seater bike limo. After a few brewskies and several laps around Helen, we quickly became a tourist attraction with people taking pictures of us as we rode down the main rode waving and wishing everyone Guten Tag.
My friends and I stroke our best Senior picture pose by the river.
I’ll be traveling back to Tennessee this weekend, which made me pull up this game photo from a couple weeks ago. Fall means football and boots :)!
I sported UT Orange and brought along my Georgia friend so I wouldn’t get harassed too much in Athens.
My office orchid has survived. It’s bloomed, died and bloomed some more. I never thought I’d be able to keep a flower alive for this long!
While plants become dormant and the leaves begin to change, my orchid will continue to thrive in its temperature-controlled inside environment. I hope you all have a great, long weekend, if you are fortunate enough to have Columbus Day off from work!
