you ever get something new and become obsessed with it?  How did I ever live without this
J. Crew blazer before?  This is definitely the quintessential fall piece for me! The best part is that my sister found this Petite XS J. Crew Blazer at a small boutique for only $50! Typically, this blazer would cost more than  $100, if not more than $200!  Since it came in the mail, I’ve been wearing it every chance I get!  It’s a thick wool material, which is perfect for fall weather!

For work, I paired my Rampage pencil, black dress with black pumps (Forever21) and Mitzquie briefcase. Silver and black bangles are from Forever21.  Of all the shoes in my wardrobe, I wear my black and nude pumps from Forever21  the most.  I’ll have to replace them soon because the soles and heels have been worn bare.  So here is the eternal question for all the ladies out there, is it worth taking your old shoes to a shoe repair shop or should you buy a new pair to replace them?

  1. Nice blazer and how sweet of your sister to get it for you! I like your arm candy and the briefcase a lot too. As for the shoes, it depends on the price of the shoes for me. If they are inexpensive, I will just replace, but if they are a high priced shoe, I will repair.

  2. Kate that is a lovely blazer!!!
I would say take the shoes to a mender if they are leather, you’ve broken them in, and repairing them will give them a new lease of life! 🙂

  3. Great advice ladies! I opted to get new shoes to replace my staple black and nude pumps. They were fairly cheap anyway! I’ll have to post them soon!
