Director David Petraeus &His Foursome Problem

David Petraeus, CIA Director, handed his resignation to the President Obama last week amid an FBI investigation into his extramarital affair with his biographer Paula Broadwell.  Petraeus’s extra curricular activities now has U.S. General John Allen under investigation for alleged in appropriate emails with Jill Kelley, the woman who initiated the inquiries into Petraeus. I probably should rewrite the title to “Fivesome”, but Holly Petraeus doesn’t seem to be participating in this squabble.

I do applaud Petraeus for admitting to his mistake and accepting the consequences for them.  However, if he did share any sensitive information with Broadwell as a result of their close relationship that could jeopardize the country, the citizenry deserves to know.  His questionable morals in his personal life may well overlap into his professional career – let’s certainly hope not.  While President Obama seems satisfied that no security breach occurred as a result of his affair, is the public?

CNN did a great piece reflecting on the fall of great men because of their sexual inclinations.  Will men ever learn?

Obama’s Administration slowly releases more than 6,000 in proposed regulations and notifications

Did you even know that a website like this existed: reguations.gov website? President Obama promised in 2011 to remove outdated regulations and update the code to spur economic prosperity.  I agree with this statement.  What I don’t want to happen is that a regulation in the myriad of regulations that will effect everyone fly under the radar.  CNSNEWS: “In the past 90 days, it has posted 6,125 regulations and notices – an average of 68 a day.” I doubt Americans are taking the time to drudge through all these regulations per day. With Obama’s reelection  healthcare and financial regulations are sure to come can i buy phentermine in the uk down the pipeline in days to come, let’s keep a close eye on this website in order to check and balance the executive branch.

Update: Expect Tax Hikes

President  Obama proposes to raise taxes by $1.561 trillion over the next decade.  Is anyone surprised?

U.S. New Oil Tycoon?

Energy industries predict the U.S. to surpass Saudi Arabia as world’s largest oil exporter by 2020 – will this be a game changer? The International Energy Agency said natural gas will become the largest single fuel in the U.S. energy mix by 2030. Energy resources has always been in the political arena, how will President Obama’s energy policies change in light of new information?

New China leadership isn’t so new

Xi Jinping is the new general secretary (president) of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), leading the seven-seat Political Bureau Standing Committee, which includes Li Keqiang (premier), Zhang Dejiang, Yu Zhengsheng, Liu Yunshan, Wang Qishan and Zhang Gaoli.

Hilary Whiteman’s CNN story helps to shed light on the new lineup for those not Chinese experts (me).  Corruption remains in the Chinese government with most of the newly elected officials having close ties with outgoing president Hu Jintao.  Chinese people who hoped for political reform were frustrated again.

Weird News: Idiot Women Drives on Sidewalk to Avoid Schoolbus

A Cleveland Municipal Court judge ordered 32-year-old Shena Hardin to hold a sign warning people of idiots on Tuesday and Wednesday for an hour because she was caught driving on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus that was unloading children. This was a perfect sentence from the judge in my humble opinion!  Hardin’s license was also suspended for 30 days, and she had to pay a $250 in court costs.
