WIWW: Vincent Van Goh Dress

As an occasional sewer, I have a deep appreciation for fabrics.  The colors in this dress grabbed my eye’s attention because it looks like an abstract painting.  Is it flowers? Is it dancing lights in the shadow? The beauty of abstract art is that it can be many things to different people.  Fabrics are the building blocks of fashion, and good fabric can do wonders to poorly designed clothes.

  1. Monet AND Van Gogh! You’re a walking gallery! The porcelain necklace is a nice touch as well and matches the watch, but the jacket really ties it all together. Keep up the great inspiration!
