I don’t know what to make, I usually make pasta. I’m sure there must be some Italian in my Vietnamese heritage based on the amount of pasta I consume alone, not to mention breads and what-nots.
So when I was grappling for dinner ideas this week, I decided on pasta, specifically beef stroganoff! I always thought stroganoff sauce was difficult, but not anymore! After a quick Google search, I found a simple stroganoff sauce recipe:
1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of milk
Paprika to taste
* I added some chili powder for an extra kick
- Browned chopped beef
- Stir in Stroganoff sauce
- Chop butternut squash, let boil in sauce until tender
- Cook pasta in a separate pot, drain, and toss with sauce mixture – Done!
Stroganoff is simple and delicious! I will definitely keep this one in my recipe Rolodex!
