a bad blogger, I left my camera at home and focused on styling and mingling at #WthinksPink 4th Annual Cure on the Catwalk that went down at the hip
W hotel in Buckhead, Atlanta September 26, 2013.  I had so much fun getting to know CJ (my stylish partner in crime and five-year-breast-cancer-survivor) as we prepped and walked the runway to raise funds for Pink Heals Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young cancer survivors regain confidence after the completion of treatments. Their mission: “It’s not about cancer… It’s about LIFE!”

Me & CJ in Bevello clothes

Love what we are wearing? Check out Bevello at shops around Lennox for these great fall finds! (My jacket is from Marshalls and shoes are our own)

Behind the scenes shot – Hanging out in one of the amazing rooms at W Buckhead Hotel as CJ gets on her makeup for the show!

Van Michael Hair Salon

This is the amazing team of make-up & hair geniuses from Van Michael Hair Salon that turned up the heat on all the models’ looks for the show!

Talk about perfect timing! We walked the runway as the sunset on the Atlanta skyline!

Love this photo of all the breast cancer survivors strutting their stuff on the catwalk!

The stylists aka bloggers from Southern Blog Society – loved meeting and catching up with these lovely ladies!

I love CJ’s infectious smile, and her love of life! I have so much to learn from this role model and hot model!

My hair is catching some wind as I walked the catwalk for #WthinksPink!

We had an amazing crowd come for #WthinksPink Cure on the Catwalk to raise awareness and funds for Pink Heals Foundation!

Special shout-out to my boss for coming and supporting a great cause! She could be recruited to walk the catwalk next year after wearing this adorable lace dress (as seen on True Blood)!

My friends are hotter than yours, and I love them for coming to support me and Pink Heals Foundation!

Have you tried Vixen yet?

Need a hair salon suggestion in Atlanta? Look no further than Van Michael Hair Salon!

Special thanks to Jessica, from My Style Vita and co-founder of Southern Blog Society, and Lisa, from Pink Heals Foundation, for their amazing work to put together #WthinksPink Cure on the Catwalk!

Survivors and Supermodels with host Julie Moran!

I always get placed up front and center because of my vertical challenge disorder.

All photos were taken by Dylan York or Ben Rose (www.benrosephotography.com). For the full album, check out W Buckhead Atlanta Facebok Page!

I feel blessed to be a part of Cure on the Catwalk, and I’m excited to make a life-long friend of CJ!

  2. This looks like fantastic fun! I just wrote a post about BC and really agree about focussing on life and enjoying what we have while we have it. Will definitely start following you, given we obviously share a similar vertical issue!
