snapped this quick selfie before leaving the office one day.  The hardest part about having a fashion blog is finding someone to take my photos for me.  Let’s be honest, I look fabulous all the time, I just need a personal photographer to follow me around.  Thankfully, when all else fails, use a desk and the self timer function on your camera.

If you live in the South or any warm climate region, you have a myriad of summer dresses and a scanty collection of winter wear.  This is my problem.  I solve it by turning my one-season dress into a multi-season dress by layering a long sleeve blouse underneath.  You can use a turtleneck or sweater to give extra warmth to any strappy or strapless summer dresses you own to instantly convert it for a fall stylish look!

  1. I totally feel your Southern summer wear pain Kate! When I moved to NYC, I literally stood around trying to figure out how to mask my summer dresses as winter appropriate clothing! lol Love the way you mixed this one up, the sheer sleeves add a little extra drama!

  2. Although I don’t live in a warm weather region, I am always on the look out for using my clothes throughout the year! Your blouse looks adorable underneath your dress and those shoes are a perfect match! Such a cute outfit!

  3. So smart!!
I will next winter not turn all my dresses down to the basement for storage then! 😀 Need to try out.

It’s really true you look fab’ all the time, it get’s a bit booring to comment on your blog for me – cause all I want to say on each post is ‘ you look great’ or something like that 🙂
I really like reading your blog!

Happy new year 🙂 Wish you happiness!

Btw – did you know in Sweden, the word ‘selfie’ will become a ‘real swedish word’ to use 🙂 Every new year they send out a list with ‘new words that will be counted as Swedish’ from the new year shift. It’s kind of fun 🙂
