what I cooked to keep myself fed during Jonas snow blizzard. Salmon with a teriyaki sauce and pasta salad with broccolini and carrots.

Teriyaki Sauce:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons sweet rice wine
1 tablespoon, plus 2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons minced ginger

Sauce:
Combine ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Brown Salmon on both sides and pour teriyaki sauce over salmon. Simmer until Salmon is cooked through.

Blanche broccolini and mix with carrots and half cup of parmesan cheese. I combined salt, pepper and olive oil for the sauce based off of my preference. Just add to your preference.
