had so much fun this weekend. I took a break from schoolwork and didn’t think about it once. I needed the mental break to recharge before I start working on my dissertation this week. To fully relax, my girlfriends and I checked into Enso Day Spa, just 30 minutes outside of DC, to pamper ourselves. It’s a great spa that just opened up and it a perfect spot for a Sunday Funday or bachelorette party for your girlfriends.

I love the meaning of Enso, which is the moment when you find enlightenment when you meditate in Italian, and it means circle in Japanese. The spa embodies both of these elements with its serene setting and circular room with a hot tub and massage rooms that can accommodate up to 4 people at a time. In addition, they have a sauna room, nail parlor and hair salon. Anything you need, they have it.

I got a mini-facial and soaked in the hot tub. I couldn’t have asked for a better and more relaxing Sunday. What did you do this weekend?
